Bluerock Homes Trust Declares Q4 Preferred Stock Dividends
Bluerock Homes Trust's board authorized monthly cash dividends on Series A and Series B Preferred Stock for the fourth quarter.
Bluerock Homes Trust, Inc. (NYSE American: BHM) announced Monday that its board of directors has authorized and declared monthly cash dividends on both its Series A Redeemable Preferred Stock and Series B Preferred Stock for the fourth quarter, the New York-based residential real estate investment trust said in a statement.
The dividend declarations cover consecutive monthly payments through the end of the quarter, a structure common among REITs that issue preferred securities to provide investors with predictable, income-oriented distributions. Preferred stockholders receive fixed dividends ahead of common shareholders, making such securities a lower-risk option within a company's capital stack.

The board's action reflects routine capital management for a publicly traded REIT, which is required by law to distribute at least 90 percent of its taxable income to shareholders annually to maintain its tax-advantaged status. Consistent preferred dividend payments are generally viewed as a signal of financial stability and liquidity.
