Privacy Policy
Introduction
We at Moneyaviro take your privacy seriously. This document sets out, in plain English, what information we collect from you when you visit the site, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how to exercise the privacy rights granted to you under applicable law. Reading this policy in full is a good idea — privacy obligations vary by jurisdiction and a few of the choices below are yours to make.
Information We Collect
Like most websites, Moneyaviro receives basic technical information from your browser whenever you load a page: an Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, operating system, language preference, the URL you requested, the URL you came from (if any), and the date and time of your request. We use this information to deliver pages, secure the service, and produce anonymous traffic metrics.
When you fill in a form on Moneyaviro — newsletter signup, contact form, advertise inquiry, unsubscribe page, or any other interactive surface — we collect the information you choose to enter. That typically includes your email address, your message text, and any optional fields you complete. We do not require you to register an account to read the site.
How We Use Your Information
Information collected through Moneyaviro is used to provide and improve the editorial product. Concretely, that means rendering pages to you, sending you newsletters you've explicitly opted in to, replying to messages you send via the Contact form, producing aggregated readership reports for our editorial team and advertisers, securing the site against abuse, and complying with applicable law. Your personal information is never sold to third parties.
Where European data-protection law applies, we rely on the following bases for our processing activities: legitimate interest (for site operation, security, and aggregate analytics); consent (for marketing communications and optional non-essential cookies); contractual necessity (for delivering subscription content you have requested); and legal obligation (for retention of records we are required to keep). You may withdraw consent at any point without affecting prior lawful processing.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use a small number of cookies on Moneyaviro: a session cookie to keep the site functioning, a preferences cookie to remember things like your cookie-banner choice and your accepted timezone, optional analytics cookies (used only with your consent in regions that require it), and — when we display ads — cookies set by our advertising partners. Cookies expire over time and can be deleted at any time through your browser.
Third-Party Service Providers
Moneyaviro integrates a handful of third-party services so that we can run the site without operating every piece of infrastructure ourselves. These typically include a hosting provider, a content delivery network, an email-delivery service for newsletter distribution, and a privacy-respecting web-analytics provider. We choose vendors with strong data-protection track records and we maintain data-processing agreements with them.
Advertising
We may display advertising on Moneyaviro sold programmatically through Google AdSense or another reputable advertising network. These networks use cookies to measure ad delivery and (where consent is granted) to personalize the ads shown. You can disable personalized advertising in your Google account at https://www.google.com/settings/ads and refuse non-essential cookies through our cookie banner.
Data Retention
Moneyaviro's data-retention practices follow the principle of proportionality. We keep newsletter contacts only while the subscription is active (plus a suppression record after unsubscribe); we keep contact-form messages for up to two years; we keep server logs for up to 90 days; and we delete anything beyond those windows unless we have a specific legal reason to keep it longer.
Your Privacy Rights
Under privacy laws including the GDPR (Europe) and the CCPA / CPRA (California), you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it if it is inaccurate, to ask us to delete it, to opt out of any sale or sharing of it (we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising), to restrict its use, and to bring a complaint to a regulator. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the Contact form below.
Children's Privacy
Moneyaviro is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete the information.
International Data Transfers
Because Moneyaviro operates online and uses cloud-based vendors, your personal information may be processed in countries outside the country in which you reside, including the United States. Where personal data is transferred from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom to a country that does not have an adequacy decision, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards to protect the data.
Security
Moneyaviro takes reasonable measures to safeguard the personal information in our care. Site traffic is encrypted with HTTPS; access to operational systems is restricted to authorized personnel under formal access controls; and we maintain incident-response procedures to act quickly in the event of a security event. While no online system is invulnerable, we treat the security of reader data as a core responsibility.
Changes to This Policy and How to Reach Us
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. For significant changes we will provide additional notice (such as a banner on the site or a note in the newsletter). Privacy-related questions or requests should be sent through the Contact form linked in the footer.
