PLACE Acquires Ardley to Expand Mortgage Tech Platform
PLACE is acquiring Ardley to integrate AI-powered loan recapture tools into its mortgage operating system for lenders.
PLACE, a real estate and financial services technology company valued at unicorn status, announced an agreement to acquire Ardley, a firm specializing in AI-powered automated recapture and retention technology, the company said Thursday from its Bellingham, Washington headquarters.
The acquisition is aimed at strengthening PLACE's growing platform for lenders and financial institutions, adding automated tools designed to help mortgage servicers retain existing borrowers and recapture loans that might otherwise migrate to competitors.

Ardley's core technology uses artificial intelligence to identify recapture and retention opportunities, a capability that PLACE said advances its broader ambition to build what it describes as the ultimate mortgage operating system — a unified platform consolidating key functions for lending businesses.
The deal reflects continued consolidation in the real estate technology sector, where companies are racing to embed AI-driven tools into mortgage workflows as lenders look to improve efficiency and reduce customer attrition in a competitive rate environment. PLACE's move signals a strategic expansion beyond its real estate roots deeper into financial services infrastructure.
