Securitize Launches Onchain U.S. Stock Trading for Global Investors
Securitize debuts tokenized U.S. equities on Solana, offering eligible global investors 1:1-backed shares with full economic rights.
Securitize has launched a blockchain-based platform enabling eligible investors worldwide to trade U.S. equities as tokenized securities, the company announced from Miami. Branded as Securitize Stocks, the product provides 1:1-backed representations of U.S. shares that carry the same rights and economic benefits as the underlying securities.
The offering operates through Securitize's registered broker-dealer infrastructure and runs on the Solana blockchain. The company also indicated the product will expand to two additional venues: the NYSE Alternative Trading System and the OKXICE TSV, broadening the potential trading venues available to participants.

The move positions Securitize at the intersection of traditional securities regulation and decentralized finance infrastructure. By routing the product through a registered broker-dealer, the company aims to maintain regulatory compliance while leveraging blockchain's around-the-clock settlement capabilities for an internationally eligible investor base.
The launch reflects a broader industry push to bring conventional capital markets assets onto public blockchains, a trend that has accelerated as institutional appetite for tokenized real-world assets grows. Securitize Stocks represent one of the more structured attempts to do so within an existing U.S. regulatory framework, given the broker-dealer registration underpinning the platform.
