Sovereign Wealth Fund Group Plans $5T US Capital Push at 2026 I20 Summit
SWFI launches inaugural I20 Summit in Miami alongside the G20, targeting $5 trillion in institutional capital deployment across the United States.
The Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute has announced the inaugural I20 Summit, a five-day gathering scheduled from December 11 to 15, 2026, in Miami, Florida. The event is designed to run concurrently with the G20 Leaders Summit at Trump National Doral, positioning institutional investors alongside heads of state at one of the most consequential diplomatic gatherings of the year.
The I20 will bring together sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and major institutional investors representing all G20 nations as well as allied countries. The convergence of governmental and private capital at a single location is intended to maximize deal-making opportunities and policy dialogue at the intersection of public finance and international investment.

The parallel format could allow fund managers and pension trustees to engage directly with policymakers during the same week that national leaders are negotiating economic accords.
